This is Yarnorama's own wraps per inch tool designed to allow you to perfectly measure handspun and commercial yarns to determine wraps and determine yarns that are similar in size for projects.
to use, just wrap your yarn in the notched area, laying each wrap next to the other. Count the number of wraps in the inch and voilá!
The tool has a punched hole to allow you to keep a sample handy on the tool for comparison purposes on your wheel or project bag.
