Rows and Columns Washcloths Pattern - Digital Download
This pattern is great for intermediate beginners or more experienced weavers who want a quick, fun project for gift giving and one that will provide lots of learning. The technique used is color-and-weave.
These washcloths are woven in plain weave, so suitable for rigid heddle or shaft loom weavers.
Washcloths require 3 colors of cotton boucle, 8 oz. each in light, medium and dark colors for contrast. You will get 6 or 7 washcloths.
- any rigid heddle or shaft loom with at least an 11+" weaving width.
- 12-dent reed or one suitable to thread at 12 ends per inch
- 2 shuttles
These were woven in plain weave to make nice, drapey washcloths. You could, also, weave this in a 4-shaft twill for a slightly more open fabric.
For colors, here is the Cotton Boucle.
