This is a 5-week workshop that will teach you weaving fundamentals through a series of exercises, projects, and in-class hands-on instruction. The goal of the program is to guide the student through foundational weaving concepts and principles with constructive feedback so the weaver can grow skills with confidence.
The cost is $175 plus materials, and the student will complete two projects during the program, a set of washcloths, and a twill color gamp and scarf on the same warp.
May 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30, 10am to 12:30 each day.
Students will need a 4-shaft table loom, such as the Erica, Jane, or Voyageur, as they will be bringing it to each session and then taking it home for the weekly assignments. Class size is limited.
