Structure -Plain Weave
Finished Size -11” x 80” + fringe
Equipment/Supplies -
•A 13” or wider rigid heddle loom, or 2-shaft loom
•10-dent reed
•1 stick or boat shuttle
•5 yards smooth cotton for waste yarn
Yarns -
Warp- Any fingering-weight yarn with pre-dictable color repeats. We used FiberObses-sions Legend Palindrome, 80% SW Merino, 20% Nylon, 1 skein (420 yds per 100 gr)
Weft- Approximately 380 yards of a soft lace-weight yarn in a solid color. We used Katia 50 Shades of Mohair , 67% Super Kid Mohair, 30% Polyamide, 3% Wool, 2 spools (218 yds per 20 gr)
