This kit includes 5 50-gram skeins of Koigu KPPPM and a digital download of the Cross My Heart Scarf pattern.
When I discovered this stitch, I knew it would be a perfect way to show off handpainted or hand-dyed yarns with short color repeats. The colors just pop with the long floats that get criss-crossed. This scarf would be pretty in a tonal yarn, as well, showing off the more subtle color variations, or in gradients. The latest revision includes a shawl upsizing variation. When using multiple colors in the largest size, we just knit until we ran out of one color and then started with the next. But you can mix and match your colors as you desire.
We love making these in Koigu yarns, pencil boxes and paint cans. You can use a single 50-gram skein for the small scarf to 5 50-gram (10 25-gram) skeins for the largest size. Basically, you need anywhere from 175 yds up to 875 yards.
