These 4", 5" or 6" bobbins fit the Schacht shuttles and others that can accommodate the length and height. The bobbin length indicates the space where the yarn is wound. When measuring for fit in your shuttle, the total length is actually one inch longer, so the 4" bobbin measures 5", and so forth.
