Five evenly spaced gray yarns along with black and white create a 7-value gradient study. Use alone for a great study of value, or to highlight a color or double the gray yarns with a color to tone the color down incrementally. The color set includes: five evenly spaced gray yarns: Very Light Gray, Light Gray, Middle Gray, Dark Gray and Very Dark Gray. All 5 gray yarns work perfectly together because they are created using the same formulation of fiber reactive dye. Dyed on the same high-quality 100% mercerized cotton yarn asthe other Tubular Spectrum colors. The kit comes with the 5 gray yarns and black and white so you now have a 7 step gradient study.
