Susan's Perfect Mobius Poncho
This wonderful handwoven poncho is a favorite! It can be worn in several ways and can be woven using a variety of yarns, including handspan. Plain weave creates a canvas over which you can add weaving embellishments, like clasped weft and various pick-up techniques to add further interest.
This can be woven on any 2-harness loom, including a rigid heddle loom, that has a weaving width of 17" or wider. You will need an 8-dent reed/heddle and 1 or 2 shuttles.
It takes 4 skeins of Noro Silk Garden and 4 coordinating skeins of Noro Silk Garden Solo (preferable 2 of 1 color and 1 of each of 2 other colors).
