This scarf was woven in a simple twill pattern to highlight the color shifts and movement of the beautiful hand-painted warp. Twisted fringe give it a durable and pretty finish.
This scarf was designed, hand painted and then handwoven by FiberObsessions, Susan Fricks. It is a one-of-a-kind art wearable. The handpainted warp evokes images of sunrise on a bright, clear morning. It is soft as a cloud and very drapey.
The scarf has been carefully washed, gently machine dried and lightly pressed to ensure easy care.
This can be worn in multiple ways to accessorize or to be the highlight of your outfit. It is long enough to be folded in half and looped.
To care for the scarf, occasional light pressing. To clean, hand wash in a gentle cleanser like Soak or Eucalan, spin out excess water or pat out with dry towels, then lay flat to dry. When just barely damp, press lightly.
Made from 60% Rayon/40% Silk in the warp and 100% Tencel for the weft. The warp was dyed using permanent fiber reactive dyes.
The scarf is 79” x 9" + fringe.
Please keep in mind that your monitor's settings might make the colors look slightly different than in real life.
