These towels are a favorite of mine, and the contrasting hems add an element of playfulness and fun to the towels. They use a very simple treading so that you can play with color and enjoy the weaving.

What’s Needed?
Finished Size:17” x 26”, including 1/2” folded hems.
This pattern will make 4 towels.
Yarn:
Warp & Weft:8/2 Cotton, M.Brassard, 8oz, 1680 yd. cones (available here). 3 Cones, 1 each of Colors A (light), B (dark) and C (medium). We used Light Grey, Brick and Rust.
For additional towels, add 1 yard per towel in the warp (194 yards Color A), 136 yards Color B, and 78 yards Color C). Each towel requires approximately 400 yards for weft.
